Povodom proslave pete godine postojanja, Američki kutak u Novom Sadu raspisao je foto-konkurs pod nazivom Urbani pejzaži Amerike. “Pozivamo vas, ukoliko ste boravili u Americi i fotografisali te momente, da donesete fotografije u Američki kutak do 2. oktobra 2009. Od prikupljenih fotografija biće postavljena izložba kojom ćemo, uvereni smo, uspeti da prenesemo atmosferu urbanog prostora američkih gradova. Izbor fotografija i ove godine napraviće naši stručnjaci iz oblasti fotografije”, poručuju iz Kutka.

Na poleđini svake fotografije potrebno je naznačiti kad je napravljena, u kom gradu i državi, i šta se na njoj nalazi. Potrebno je dostaviti i ime i prezime, kontakt telefon i adresu elektronske pošte autora fotografije. Autor/vlasnik može priložiti najviše 10 fotografija – “pri čemu ne garantujemo da će sve fotografije biti izložene”. Pristigle fotografije će nakon izložbe biti vraćene vlasnicima.

Proslava godišnjice Američkog kutka u Novom Sadu zakazana je za 6. oktobar u 18.30 sati, kad će izložba zvanično biti otvorena. U Kutku još saznajemo: “Kao i prošle godine, kada smo prikupljali fotografije iz Njujorka, i ove godine očekujemo velik odziv, a vlasnici ili autori najboljih fotografija biće nagrađeni. Fotografije možete doneti lično u prostorije Američkog kutka, koji se nalazi u ulici Petra Drapšina broj 3, svakog radnog dana do 2. oktobra”.

Call for Collecting the Photos “American Urban Landscapes”

In order to celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of American Corner in Novi Sad we are announcing Call for Collecting photos on the theme “American Urban Landscapes.”

We are using this opportunity to invite you to bring us photos that you have taken during your stay in USA, at the American Corner before October 2nd 2009. Selected photos will be exhibited and, we hope, bring out the atmosphere of urban spaces of American cities. As before, the selection will be provided by experts from the photography field.

Before bringing the photos please mark on the back of the photo the year when photo was taken, in which city and state, who or what is on the photo and your data (name, last name, contact telephone number and e mail).

One author\owner can bring no more than 10 photos. We do not guarantee that all of them will be exhibited.

All photos will be returned after the exhibition.

Celebration of 5th Anniversary of American Corner Novi Sad will be organized on October 6th at 6.30 pm when the exhibition will be officially opened. As it was last year when we were exhibiting photos from New York we are expecting great response of our members.

The author or owners of best photos will be awarded.

You can bring the photos personally at the American Corner, Petra Drapsina Street, number 3, every work day until October 2nd 2009 in these terms:

Wednesday: 2:30 – 8:00 pm
Thursday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
Friday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
